David Cartlidge qualified as a Grad Chem studying part-time at the North Staffordshire Polytechnic in 1977 and later became a PRINCE2TM Practitioner in Applied Project Management after passing the examination in June 2007, at Staffordshire University in Stoke-on-Trent and has passed the Introductory Certificate of the Association of Project Managers in December 2011.
Prior to joining Pera David spent the previous 13 years as a Project and Delivery Manager and technologist successfully managed and delivering a wide variety of successful collaborative projects in the following sectors: Production, Advanced Manufacturing and Processing, Aerospace, Energy, Waste, Health, Training, Ceramics and Consumer. Whilst delivering these projects David developed additional skills in Direct Writing and Laser Processing and passed the Health Protection Agency accredited course in 2009 in Laser Safety Management. He has wide experience in managing European, TSB, RDA and commercial projects covering a wide range of different sectors. He is currently managing a variety of medical and production EC FP7 funded Strep, R4A and R4S R&D projects.
David also has over 30 years broad based management experience at the senior level, with proven success in Production and Quality improvements, Business Development, Consultancy, and Training in the ceramics and associated industries.
